Looking back...and ahead!

2011 was a big year for me:

-"Deux Petites Souris" was born and with the help of the lovely Camille Chung a beautiful logo was created:

-I started this blog and made some great connections with like-minded creative people.

-My apron pattern was published in Stitch Magazine:

-Claire (owner of Courtepointe Claire Quilt Shop)invited me into her store to be the new sewing instructor.

-Sales started rolling in my Etsy shop and through word of mouth.

-Madame Samm invited me to post my card case tutorial on her blog Sew We Quilt.

-I'm really enjoying being a part of Flickr and made lots of connections there.  It's a place where I can get feedback from fellow sewers/quiters and so much inspiration from them!

-most of all 2011 has shown me how much I enjoy my craft, especially dreaming up and creating quilts.  I like being a 'maker' and am grateful for every opportunity I get to bring forth the ideas that are floating around in my head. This past year has also shown me that the creative community is very generous.  I truly believe that is so because we are all doing something that we truly love to do. We are in our 'element'.

Happy New Year! Looking forward to lots 'Positivity' in 2012!
Warmly, Cinzia
