Then by Thursday after lunch, I finally found myself with no obligations to anyone or anything so I retreated into my corner. Some familiar and soothing music in the background, I set out to press and cut fabrics for some new quilts. Slowly I began to relax into the process and I could feel the tension leave my shoulders and my blood pressure dropped a few notches. Before I new it I had all the fabric cut for 4 new (mini) quilts.
I was back in business.

Can't wait to see how they turn out! It is relaxing, isn't it? I haven't had any QT with my sewing machine in a few long weeks, and I am missing it!
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling!
ReplyDeleteThose look very interesting! Seems there is never enough time to sew when we need it, is there?
ReplyDeleteI love the looks of this and I am happy to hear that you found some time to do what you love. Just wish you didn't live so far away! It would be fun to hang out together, Cinzia.
ReplyDeleteHappy sewing!
