I'm joining the party!

Inspired by the coming (finally!)of real spring weather, I made this wonky log cabin pillow.  With the exception of the white fabric, I used only fabrics from my scrap pile. The colors were inspired by the two birds in the 'window'.

I like the contrast of the two colorways-the cool side vs the warm side. I had only a general plan in mind when I started. I knew I wanted to make a wonky log cabin, so I just cut strips of fabric gradually increasing the width of each strip as I went along.
I think it looks right at home perched on a branch!

  1. Super cute! I love those little birds at the center of the wonky cabin blocks and they're perfectly complemented by the scrappy fabrics you chose to surround them. Great looking pillow!
